ABOUT
Established in 2013 to provide tailored woodland management solutions to smaller landowners, Red Kite Rural Ltd have now grown and complete all manner of estate management operations. We still specialise in low impact woodland works ranging from hand cutting through to an excavator based harvester and purpose built forwarder. An excellent team of sub contractors assist us when necessary, bringing additional manpower and skills as required by each individual job.
After 10 years flying helicopters for the Military, a change was required to get back the real passion of working in the countryside. Having grown up on a farm getting dirty and climbing trees it was a natural progression to get back into the woods. Starting small we have grown but still maintain the ethos that if a job is worth doing, it is worth doing properly. Continual reinvestment in the business and equipment we operate has menat we have added larger harvesting and extraction equipment to our fleet, this has allowed us to complete larger woodland works in a more timely manner whilst maximising efficiency and cost effectiveness for the woodland owner.
All this led to the establishment of Red Kite Rural Ltd, where we combine skill, passion and the personal touch to all the work we do, giving the best results for a sensible price.
We are based on the Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire border but undertake projects across the country.
